Florida has not beaten Miami since 1985 to put that in perspective your beloved author/leader was 3 at the time and A-ha had the number one song “Take on Me”.
Tim Tebow leads a high-powered Florida Offense against an up and coming Miami team led by head coach Randy Shannon. Miami is infused with a wealth of new talent and fully expects to give Urban Meyer and the Gators all that they can handle in the swamp Saturday. Miami will start a different QB in Robert Marve, but plans to give Jacory Harris some snaps in a dual quarterback system. Keep in mind that Jacory Harris was the proud winner of a Jimmy Award for his heroic efforts against Charleston Southern in week 1.
Florida expects to Brandon Spikes LB and Percy Harvin, their do it all offensive star, to make their first starts of the season this week so there are a lot new faces on both sides of the ball. Miami's roster is loaded with freshman and sophomores. If Miami wins this game they will be a force to be recon with for a while. I don’t think to many people give Miami a chance against Super Tebow and the Gators at the Swamp.
I’m going out on a limb and saying that Miami will win in an upset Saturday 31-21 behind the strength of Graig Cooper and Javarris James at tailback giving their young QB’s time to relax and move the offense. I may be wrong but that is how I’m calling it the U by ten. No additives or preservatives.
Peace,
