Ah, the sweet smell of cross division SEC football. The air attack assault of the SEC East meets the Defensive minded SEC West. If speed kills then the SEC is death row.
A LSU threat by Ricky Jean-Francois has been made and recanted on knocking Tim Tebow out of the game this Saturday. The Gators will need all the bulletin board material they can get. The Gators defense is the worst its been in years. However, they have enough offense to make up for it. Tebow's lack of a 4th down conversion two weeks ago has given him extra motivation. Freshman running backs Chris Rainey and Jeffery Demps can score at will with very little blocking also. The Gators also will have the often injured Percy Harvin in the line up as well.
LSU is well rested having a bye week to prepare for this big game. LSU is winning SEC West style with a pound it out ball control running game and defense stinger than an only child. Expect the Gators woeful defense to load up the box and make Jarrett Lee beat them. Coach Les Miles as already stated that backup QB Andrew Hatch will get a couple of series to play as well. This may bode well for the Gators because the Tigers offense is far from a juggernaut and the two quarterback rotation may disrupt the continuity in the offense.
The Gators are at home and their offense is far to potent. Gators win. 30-20.
